My name is Tyson Trunkhill, and I am reaching out on behalf of my wife, Kala Trunkhill, who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and is scheduled to undergo surgery this December. While doctors are hopeful that the tumor is benign, they will not be certain until it is removed.Kala’s surgery is very complex, as the tumor is surrounding several critical nerves that control hearing and facial movement. Because of this, there is a risk of hearing loss and facial paralysis, making both the procedure and recovery especially challenging.Even after surgery, Kala will require ongoing monitoring, including hearing evaluations and regular MRI scans, as there remains a possibility that the tumor could grow back over time.Thank you for considering our request and for any generosity you can extend. Your kindness will make a meaningful difference for our family as we navigate this journey.
